Our Experience at Envestnet’s Advisor Summit 2022

As we’re sure you are, we’re still teeming with excitement and an expanded perspective after Envestnet’s Advisor Summit. From the keynotes to the sessions, tech announcements, and Expo Hall demonstrations, it was quite a week! We not only had the opportunity to see and hear from key Envestnet leadership, but we were also able to connect and strengthen our relationships with clients and partners, and deepen our knowledge of Envestnet’s products and services. We were fortunate to make new connections and are so proud of COO, Alli Jordan, who represented us on two panels, How RIAs Can Drive Efficiency and Scale and Becoming More Proactive as a Lending Advisor to Your Clients.

Here’s a recap of the things we’re most excited about coming out of Advisor Summit.

The Intelligent Financial LifeTM

Co-Founder and CEO, Bill Crager, kicked off Advisor Summit and energized the crowd. He shared Envestnet’s vision of an Intelligent Financial LifeTM where people’s daily financial lives are connected to their long-term goals, and how advisors fit into this. Advisors can help people navigate the needs they have today with where they want to go tomorrow. Advisors can help provide the tools and strategies that give people more visibility, generate more awareness, and help people grow financial confidence as they progress and check off their milestones.

Later, Envestnet’s CMO, Mary Ellen Dugan, shared the stage with Jason Dorsey, a generational researcher, and together they shared finding from the first-ever Intelligent Financial LifeTM study. What are people looking for? The answers include clarity in their finances, advancements in fintech, and connecting with their advisor.

Sustainability

As a fast-growing segment of the professionally managed money universe, sustainable investing was top of mind at Advisor Summit this year. From the Sustainability Pavilion in the Expo Hall to the announcement of Sustainable Investment View, a frictionless workflow strategy to help integrate an investor’s sustainability preferences into proposed investment strategies, we expect to see Envestnet’s sustainable offerings continue to grow.

Acquisition of Truelytics

Truelytics is an Advisor Transition Management platform that helps wealth management and insurance enterprises attract, grow, and retain advisory businesses, while also reducing the costs related to advisor transitions. This acquisition reinforces Envestnet’s strategy to connect its ecosystem by creating transformative progress for advisors and their clients.

Guest Keynotes

We really enjoyed hearing from Peter Diamandis, the Founder and Executive Chairman at XPRIZE Foundation, as he shared the joining of tech and people, and well as disruptive innovations. We also heard from NASCAR legend, Danica Patrick.
